Patient Satisfaction Results
The Hospital Quality Alliance releases Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) scores for hospitals nationwide on a quarterly basis. Nebraska Orthopaedic Hospital takes these scores very seriously as these are the scores given by you, our patients.
Routinely, Nebraska Orthopaedic Hospital scores well-above average in every category. In fact, survey results indicated 85 percent of the patients who were admitted would give NOH a "9" or "10" on a scale from 0 (lowest) to 10 (highest). The national average was 64 percent and average for the state of Nebraska came in as 69 percent. NOH has consistently scored in the top 1% in overall patient satisfaction in the state.
We invite you to view these scores online. The HCAHPS survey consists of 27 questions asking patients, after they have left the hospital, how often different aspects of care were provided. The Hospital Quality Alliance hopes that this survey will provide an independent, objective look at patients' experience while they were in the hospital.
Nebraska Orthopaedic Hospital is truly specializing in our patients!
