Ian D. Crabb, M.D.
Dr. Crabb has completed research and a fellowship in bone and mineral research at the University of Rochester, Department of Orthopaedics. He is a graduate of New York University School of Medicine and recipient of the Siegal Award for Academic Excellence.

Dr. Crabb served as staff hand surgeon and Director of Knee Surgery at the San Diego Naval Medical Center. His research in "randomized, prospective comparison of ACL reconstructions using bone-patella-bone with endostrand hamstrings" resulted in the Kirk Award for best original research from the Society of Military Orthopaedic Surgeons. He served as Department Head in Orthopaedics at the Navy Hospital in Naples, Italy. His publications and presentations have taken him throughout the U.S.

Dr. Crabb's memberships include American Association of Orthopaedic Surgeons and American Orthopaedic Society of Sports Medicine. He is board certified through the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
