Kirk S. Hutton, M.D.
Dr. Hutton is an orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in athletic sports injuries and musculoskeletal problems. After receiving his medical degree from the University of Nebraska College of Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska, Dr. Hutton completed an orthopaedic surgery residency at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, Texas. He then completed a Sports Medicine Fellowship with the Steadman-Hawkins Clinic in Vail, Colorado.
While in Colorado, Dr. Hutton assisted with the NFL Denver Broncos and participated in the care of other professional athletes. He is currently a team orthopaedic specialist for the U.S. Olympic Ski Team, Dana College, and the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
Dr. Hutton is board certified with the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He also holds membership in several professional societies, including the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, Arthroscopy Association of North America, and the Omaha Mid-West Clinical Society. He has authored several published articles in various medical journals, as well as book chapters including, but not limited to, The Team Physician's Handbook, Orthopaedic Secrets, and Sports Medicine Secrets.
