So, to make your stay a little better and to make you feel more at home, we provide these ideal services to the people we care about the most: you!
Room Service
Room service is also available for your convenience from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and delicious meals are prepared to order from the menu. As a patient at Nebraska Orthopaedic Hospital, you are invited to take advantage of our "At Your Request Room Service Dining." Please consult our menu below. But, we also pride ourselves on taking special requests for special diets or preferences that may exist. To ensure the greatest variety of meals for our patients and guests, menu items are subject to change.

To further enhance your visit and help you feel more at home, we provide the latest in electronic entertainment.
Television
Nebraska Orthopaedic Hospital has basic cable in every room which includes CBS, NBC, ABC, FOX AMC, CNN, ESPN, The History
Channel and much more.
Movies
There are also a large variety of DVDs available for you to view at any time during your stay. The movies available are listed
on your in-room entertainment guide in your room. Just let one of our nurses know which movie you'd like to see.
Internet
Wireless Internet access is available to patients, families and visitors of the hospital. This service is available in
the main and upper lobbies of the hospital, as well as patient rooms on the second floor. You are more than welcome to bring your laptop to use our wireless network. Your
laptop will need to be an 802.11b-compatible wireless Ethernet adaptor (also called Wi-Fi compliant).

Overnight Guests
Each inpatient is allowed to have one overnight guest stay with them in the room. A comfortable love seat with pull out hide-a-bed is provided for your convenience. Please contact your attending nurse to help make arrangements.
Patient Education Center
We encourage you to utilize our Patient Education Center located next to our family consulting rooms. There you will find information specific to the type of surgery that is being performed, pre- and postoperative care instructions, as well as Internet-ready computers you can use to check e-mail or search the web.
